COMPA - Mobile Art School
The charitable society COMPA works in over a dozen schools in the Bolivian municipalities of El Alto and Achocalla and supports socially-disadvantaged children and adolescents. These schools were supplemented in 2017 by the "kind and safe schools" network, which currently includes 13 establishments and is expected to rise to 20 educational institutions in the coming year. COMPA's activities influence around 5,000 primary and secondary school students and their parents every year. In order to further support the creativity and participation of children and adolescents in the school network of both municipalities, COMPA has begun development of a mobile art school. Its goal is to help create a structure that goes beyond its previous work in the cultural centres and supports the role of children in the school network.
